This is a community thrift store and has many wonderful events...like their annual easter Egg Hunt. You can shop there anytime on any day and run into a friend, a co-worker or a neighbor. Horrible customer service. I bought 6 shirts off the rack, get up to cashier and they couldn't sell me 3 of the nicer shirts because they were supposed to be priced and in a different area. After my first visit to this fine treasure store, I no longer shop at Neimin Marcus, Saks, Nordies, need I go on??? Feragammo's just like new for guess, you are right under $20. St. John's knits, original oil paintings, brass anitques...A tour of my wardrobe and my home, and one would assume I was well-to-do, well I am. The staff is delighful, savvy on wardrobe coordination, and cheerful. The most important detail of this treasure is it's mission. The staff are all volunteer for those of us who no longer have our health. I am one of them, and happy, healthy I feel every time I visit. The manager, has style, and is knowledge is all aspects of running a tresure filled business for the characters of McLean...Kudos to the manager and her fine selection of volunteers. A savvy woman.
