I frequently stop by, and generally have a good experience here. Nice selection, good prices, stock changes often. Great for furniture and housewares especially. Nice section of slightly nicer brand clothing separated from regular brands. (Read More)

Large clothing selection, decent housewares, very little furniture. Prices seem a little high, but the store is extremely clean. Parking is the biggest issue! (Read More)

Very small with an average selection. I think the consignment store next door buys up all the good stuff first. (Read More)

I love this thrift shop because it's like an old-timey two-level department store and they've been around for over 50 years. It's always my first go-to when I need something and I've noticed there are lots of regular customers who come in almost daily. The shop has linens, kitchen stuff, adult and kid's clothing and shoes, some toys, hardware, a small furniture section, a book nook and lots of miscellaneous stuff but no electronics. There's also a side room with better/brand name clothing where I've gotten some really nice clothes and shoes. The staff is friendly and helpful and they'll greet you when you come in, by name if they know it. Sometimes when you check out they'll add up your purchases with pen and paper - kinda charming. The proceeds go to Mt. Carmel Catholic Church for various programs including youth programs and feeding the homeless, and to other local charities like the Humane Society, Lifehouse and Shoes for Uganda. I think that's pretty cool. (Read More)

This store was disappointing. As an eBayer who looks for merchandise to re-sell, this is not the store to do that. They mark up designer men's suits to $75 and the average suits are $18. Way too much! I think they forgot they are a thrift store, not a consignment store. (Read More)

If anyone thikns the police can prevent anything they are nuts. Police involvement begins after the fact, not before. The best they can do is increase patrols, but that does little to stop motivated criminals. And public involvement is even more useless. The best we can do is report suspicious activity and/or crimes we witness and hope the police respond quickly. For small business owners, they can either take it or fight back themselves. At home, I'm ready and willing to do whatever it takes to protect my family.
