Don't know about the store but THIS STORE IS ON ROOSEVELT ISLAND!! Although it says "Main Street', there is no "Main Street" in Manhattan, NY. As A born and bred NYer, when I saw this listing I was like WHAT? Soooo, it is important to note that you have to take a tram from Manhattan OR a train/bus/bridge from LIC to get to this store. I put in the ratings because I wanted to alert consumers to the correct location of the store. (Read More)

Dropped off boxes this a.m. Within fifteen minutes they had thrown out some of my donations in their dumpster. I know you think they were in bad condition but they absolutely were fine. My words against theirs i can't prove it but it's true! I will never donate another item here. So Sad because someone could have used the items and the money could have been used for the hospital. Beware of where you donate to! (Read More)

It used to be a great thrift store where you could find everything needed, clothes, bedding, shoes, appliances, warm winter coats, furniture, books, etc. everyday someone dropped off new items, I and many others looked forward to stopping by before our appointments but now Administration has limited what can be sold in the store, it feels very sterile, has lost it's charm and function. It has been a part of the hospital for a very, very long time, it's a shame, because it helped so many people...Administration has made a big mistake, they don't value this lovely shop... as usual staff being out of touch with patients needs. In treatment and out treatment! And even other staff that used to shop there. Once again SHAME ON YOU Carmine and Evan!!!! (Read More)
