Prices are ridiculous. They get the items for FREE, but they have the nerve to charge top dollar. For example... K's Collection is a dollar store brand that they have for ceramics. I LOVE this shop. It’s the ONLY thrift shop in the area that I feel 100% comfy in, the selection is fantastic. It doesn’t matter that it’s small and a little crowded because it’s only open 2 days a WEEK! But I’m sure that’s because volunteers are running it and I absolutely run over there when it’s open on Sat and Tues!! I’m a goth girl and I’ve found some lovely selections for black clothing. The only gripe I have is that they sell some shoes that are really better off not being sold. I’m very familiar with BSS thrift store. It’s a good size store . It’s changed over the past 5 years . It’s run more like a business then a charity organisation to make profit. Gone are the donation collection bins in the vestibule. The workers of the past were a lovely kind bunch and hardworking. Now they look down their nose at you and can be quite rude.
