Picked up a piece of electronics I was interested in on one occasion, the bottom was covered in roach feces. I don't expect the cleanest stuff at a thrift shop, but that was exceptionally gross. This place by far is the best I have shopped at. Almost everything is $1.00. Friendly, helpful,will carry items to car and will carry your donations. If they don't have what you want they will let you know if it comes in or tell you another place to find item. No money down on your luck go here and free items are given. Don't know about the store but THIS STORE IS ON ROOSEVELT ISLAND!! Although it says "Main Street', there is no "Main Street" in Manhattan, NY. As A born and bred NYer, when I saw this listing I was like WHAT? Soooo, it is important to note that you have to take a tram from Manhattan OR a train/bus/bridge from LIC to get to this store.
