Prices - such prices
This is Goodwill, not eBay
You must catch a clue

That is all.

When I’m new in town
I’m happy to find a thrift store
Treasures galore, bargains and more
Today is a gift, that's why it's called the present.

When once I was thrifting
I spotted a rare find but alas
It was in someone's cart
Today is a gift, that's why it's called the present.

Collecting is a personal thing
Cats, frogs, audio, doll heads, and whatnot
Each choice special to us

Not what I wanted
But I had to have it just
Because it moved me.

Logo denim shirt
Freebie from your company
No one wants it, man

Oh that's funny.  When I think about all of those people in Africa running around in t-shirts with the logos of American pharmaceutical and lawn care companies it just makes me sad.

I was reading all of your Haikus to my husband and he wrote this one about me.....

I'll buy any lamp
Price does not matter to me
It does to my spouse

He's a funny guy...

Super Duper Score
I just can't buy any more
Happy Valley Store

(Just to memorialize this week's luck)
Do I get extra points or a penalty for having the lines rhyme?

That is all.

I wrote this set of Haikus to commerate the day spent thrifting in Daytona Beach, Florida with Cookie, Good Buddy, and Troy McClure.

Spent a day shopping
In Daytona, Florida
With new thrifting friends.

In the Wal-Mart lot
We were solicited by
a friendly hooker.

Sadly we declined
Her offer of carnal bliss
We were too busy.

The end of the day
A good time was had by all
Let's do this again.
