Hi all,

I just got an e-mail from a publisher in the UK who is looking for thrifters to interview in New York, San Francisco, and Portland.  Just write to me at Cookie@TheThriftShopper.Com and I'll pass your info along to them.

Thank you, Thrifters!

you're going to have a little trouble finding a thrift store open after the 2 am feeding :`(

you might have to switch to ebay!

Baby thrifting is awesome, especially baby girl clothes. Do you have any idea how many people buy very very nice "dress up clothes" that only get worn once and then donated because they were too expensive to just throw out? I don't think that my daughter has worn the same thing to church twice and she is almost 2. Plus she is the best dressed baby where ever we go. It's so nice to watch people have tiny fits when you hand a baby in a white lace dress a popscicle or chocolate cookie or send her off into the grass to play. I know that dress was $1 at Goodwill, but everyone else sees the window display at the baby boutique. I'm not worried if she stains the dresses, its the T-shirts and jammies that I buy new that I am paranoid about. You will have so much fun with that part.

Congratulations.  This is a great thing.  You know it's a girl - do you know what her name is?

How about Betty (after Betty Crocker)?

Again, congratulations...

Thanks for the congrats, everyone!  Yes, we are making our own thrifter.  We are very, very excited and I've already thrifted some vintage baby decorations for her room and some adorable infant clothes.

It's OK, we haven't really gone nuts with looking for clothes but we will soon.

SeSo and anyone else in the Central Florida area....
There's a HUGE KILLER Lutheran Village Rummage Sale coming up October 25th in Oviedo. Could you and Pete Make it? We'll contact Sally and Lee her DH and Troy McClure as well..
Anyone else that's near keep that day free!
I'll post an announcement on the calender a couple weeks in advance..

Ciao!
