Yesterday my wife and I visited the Goodwill on Johnson Ferry Road in Sandy Springs, Georgia. It was our last visit because the store will shutdown within a day or two and move down the road to the Intersection of Roswell and Johnson Ferry Roads. The Johnson Ferry Road location is being demolished to make way for a government center for the relatively new city of Sandy Springs. It's a bit of a shame because the old Goodwill was housed in an old Kroger store with high arched windows that had character and let in lots of light. Everything was 50% off. However, we found nothing special. We just said goodbye to a familiar haunt.
