Our favorite resale shop in two states. We go 2x a month, for last 18 months. The staff has ALWAYS been friendly and professional to everyone we've seen. Their prices are fair. Lots of vintage household. Go often, the good stuff sells fast.
Manager has been rude every time I've been in this store either to customers or staff and once to me when I dropped off donations. Haven't donated again. Once waited 10 minutes for a price on a book, manager was looking it up on Amazon and clerk came back with $80 price. Left it with them. I WAS a regular shopper & dropped boxes of books, clothes * furniture 5-6 times a year. Stopped in this week to see if things had improved any...it hasn't so put back all 4 items and left. I won't be back until a new manager is hired. There are other pet thrifts around getting my donations now.
Very overpriced. I have shopped here several times looking for old Pyrex cookware, they usually have some but it is consistently priced at or above antique store prices, even when damaged or missing lids. People shop at thrift stores for deals, not to pay the same prices as antique stores. I'm afraid I'm giving up on this place, can't afford my hobby here. :(
Beware! Staff is incredibly rude and price gouges at check out. On numerous occasions I have heard manager Darlene speak condescendingly to customers and employees as well. I'm not keen on thrift stores that "size you up" before they price an item. It's not fair. Book pricing is very vaque. $10 for books not marked which I could buy for less online doesn't make sense. If this thrift shop represents the way the pet charity is run, I'll donate elsewhere. Especially somewhere that appreciates the business and support.
It's a little bit cramped because they have so much but there is a good variety--home, clothes, etc... It's got some good finds. I was a little disappointed about some prices though. It's for a good cause.
