pet-peeve about this store: clothes are not sorted according to size, but are put on the racks by color. I wear a 2X and I would rather be able to just go to the 2X's and pick what I want. No. I've got to sort thru ALL the clothes to find my size. Also, I don't know why they can't sort books either alphabetically by author or by subject/topic. Most other stores do this. I like certain genre of books, but like clothes, I have to wade thru shelves of books to try to find what I'm after.

I agree with the other comments on this store. Why can't the employees/volunteers organize the clothing better, as is done in other stores? Same goes for the book selections - - c'mon, is it THAT hard to organize the books by subject matter, or alphabetize the authors - as is done in other stores? Overall, not pleased with this Goodwill store.

The selection lacks compared to other Goodwill stores, but the population of Valdosta is a lot less, so it's expected. The pricing at this store is what grinds my gears. I walked in today to see a framed picture for $55. It looked homemade. Nothing about it screamed quality, yet there it was.. ridiculously priced, front and center. There have been instances where the Goodwill price is actually higher than retail price (ex: I saw the same item in Dollar Tree for $1.. at Goodwill for $2.12... seriously?). Also, as I was looking through the baby clothes today (I'm 8 months pregnant), a whole portion of the rack fell to the ground. Clothes were everywhere. Luckily no children were around, as there usually are because the bicycles are placed not too far from the baby clothes. There was also mold/mildew stains in a baby bouncer that was on sale. Those kind of things shouldn't make it onto the store sales floor from the donation center. I can't say that I don't find a good bargain on anything because I usually do, but this Goodwill store leaves a lot to be desired.

This is a really poor example of a Goodwill Store. I have been to many, especially in Florida. I don't know if it is because the population doesn't read, but there are not many books. The shelves are not packed, I have gone many times to find them half empty. Some of the prices are absolutely ridiculous; a dollar store item marked 1.00 on the original tag was marked up to over 3 dollars by the Goodwill. Give us a break. The types of things going into this store reflect the not-so-rich population around it; therefore the items aren't that great. Don't waste your time.

I feel that you are missing out on a lot of sales by not having clothes racked by size. I'm sure it's easier to just put same colors together, but having the time to go through racks looking for my size is something that I rarely have.
