i'm sorry to say I agree with several of the other reviewers. A few days ago I went in looking for a specific item... while looking for that item I found other items I could use. When I went to pay and asked the attendent for a lower price I was showen a sign "NO NAGOTIATION" To make a long story short.... I put items back and left. There were three losers. 1st and most important are the animals needing help that the money provides. 2nd was the attendent who has a job.. thirdly was me, (no purchase). Now PAWS and Claws still has the items taking up space, a missed a sale and the animals missed the money "A BIRD IN THE HAND IS WORTH TWO IN THE BUSH"

I'm not sure who wrote the negative review of this shop, but they must have meant it for another place or perhaps wanted something for nothing. I've shopped at this thrift shop since it used to be on the other side the building in a tiny cottage and watched it grow to the amazing, fun place it is now. Inventory changes daily and you never know what you will find when you go in. The prices are ridiculously low and it's a wonder how they manage with so few volunteers and the overhead it takes to run any small business, especially non profit ones. Plus all the proceeds are given to support the Desert Haven no kill animal shelter. If this were in a big city, it would have nationwide exposure due to its unique inventory and all the good things it does to benefit the community. The staff consists of friendly volunteers. People who complain should try to make the world a better place, not a more negative one. Instead of complaining, why not lend a hand by helping out for an hour or so once in a while either at the thrift shop or the No kill animal rescue at Desert Haven. You could help sort the never ending inventory that needs to be put out and therefore you could be aware of just how many new things are set out on a daily basis.

This is the worst thrift store in Truth or Consequences. The store is cold and cluttered. The same items sit and sit and sit in the store. Items are overpriced and nothing ever goes on sale. Whoever runs this place must not know that thrift stores need to move inventory or people quit going in.

I love this Thrift Shoppe! I've been a regular since 2005. It's easy to find. Right next to the Family Dollar on Date Street. Quality people and quality items. Do yourself a favor and check them out!

Very cool shop with unique collections. You can spend hours rummaging through and every time you go by an aisle you see something you missed before. Great place to find unique, one of a kind items or vintage memorabilia.

The store is awesome. Great items at bargain prices. Lots of unique items, some hard-to find antiques. Name brand and also vintage clothing at exceptionally low prices. PLEASE NOTE: THE SHOPPE is NOT located at 170 S Date St. It is adjacent to the Family Dollar store. The store itself is located at 109 East First avenue. Please note. It would be a shame not to be able to locate it. It's worth shopping there!
