This place is a mess! Shelves are literally filled with garbage- broken stuff, damaged clothes- almost everything is priced too high. Filled with screaming kids and sick people. Many use it as a daycare center or homeless shelter.
I hate shopping here! Only go when I can't find specific item. Craft pricing is ridiculous; 10+ yr old mags priced $3 & up. Yarn cheaper at Walmart. Toy section is atrocious! Broken toys all over. Kids? tear open bags to play with items. If there's no price tag at register, they won't sell it. Many items are filthy or broken. Their collectible & upscale items are over priced to the point of selling cheaper at stores or home parties. You have to dig to find items in craft, sports, toys, pictures and more. Kids aren't with parents, and staff won't help control them because of language barriers. They give hours to tons of housing & food stamps recipients that are required to do volunteer hours, so their "staff" is worthless with help. Most clothing pricing is good except for upscale items even if they are stained & full of holes. Book prices higher than used bookstores except for 1/2 price days. Won't discount stained or torn items.
Prices much too high for quality of merchandise. Many (about 50%) items broken or damaged, clothes stained, etc. Never much menswear bigger than size large or waist 34. Always difficult to browse book section due to several mobility-impaired who treat it as a library.
Big, busy store with thousands of items. A couple of cramped stand-alone dressing booths near the front of the store. Not a lot of plus sized clothing available. Often crowded and difficult to navigate due to the wheelchair-bound, who just like to hang out there. Most items priced about double what they should be.
LArge, busy store. Have sale color of the week as well as 50% off everything but new color once or twice a month. Books & craft items priced high. Clothing sized and well organized. Lots of dirty, broken items on shelves. Electronics said to be checked, but don't always work. Store credit given on returns. Toy area ALWAYS a disaster! Too many parents drop kids off & shop the whole store. Most are non-English speaking, so they ignore customers that try to return them to parents & staff too busy to care. If no tag is attached, no sale. Goes back to back for repricing instead of mgr. pricing on the spot. Only 2 dressing rooms that are usually full of clothes.
