I go here often, and I like the three color tags - 1/2 price items offered every day. Sometimes, it is very messy, other times it is a lot more kept up. There is a pretty good selection, and you can't beat the prices. The staff is not too bad, I think they are put off by people who take things off of hangers, and throw them anywhere, making their job much harder.

Children's clothes are all over the place. Often mix up men & women's clothing. Definetly not a employee-friendly store. Employees will push you over if you are in their way, and not even utter an "excuse me" or "sorry." It's almost like they're doing you a favor for allowing you to shop there.

It's really dirty but I always find great books here. Stuff is relativly cheap. Not as expesensive as Salvation Army. If you dont mind the dirtyness and are willing to obviously wash all of your stuff you can find osme great things. I've gotten so much from the Village....they have locations all over Chicago.
