good for clothing, pretty good for furniture and books

Too many items displayed with flaws, i.e. chips & crack in dishes, stains, missing buttons, etc..

I rated a 3 for pricing only because "yes" they may be higher "at times" but if you approach the Mgr. (Toni") she usually will work with you unless it's an item that just arrived. This store is always clean, organized and very well stocked. It's not about customer service it's about customer satisfaction. The employees at this store are always happy and do their best to serve you. Remember prices are on the rise in all areas and because Goodwill is a non profit organization they can't pay those in charge what they are truly worth so they can achieve their mission. Their mission is to help retrain and train those with barriers to employment. I know that the Atascadero Goodwill Mgr takes pride in helping those with barriers to employment and giving them the opportunity they might not have otherwise. So next time you think they're priced to high walk into a department store and see what they charge, if this goodwill is above that you need to see the Mgr(Toni) she will make it right. If not then I say no more. But I am a Loyal Goodwill Fan for a reason.
