Be realistic. TC is a true THRIFT store- not a boutique- and by far the cheapest in town. Rough part of town=poor, black & neglected (but safe), until wealthy folks move in who dont need thrift stores

Love this concept! Their motto is "solidarity not charity". Unusual and cool finds. The staff is friendly. Love to have the chance to visit again, since I don't live in Austin.

this is one of very few thrift stores that supports *radical* projects and subscribes to the idea of solidarity over charity. it rocks!

Sweet for all the right reasons! A little small, but I've always found neat stuff there. The staff are wonderful, super-helpful peoples.

this is the only easily accessible thrift store on the eastside if you walk or bike. it's also cheap which makes a change from goodwill. they are now open on mondays

Way Cool. True collectively run non-profit is staffed almost entirely by volunteers. They donates any profits they make to small local grassroots community groups and projects.
