Global Thrift Partnering is a 5000 sq. ft. packaging facility located in Erie PA. We buy excess, rag out and over stock clothing, purses, belts, shoes, hard toys and stuffed animals.
In our direct region we partner small to mid-sized thrift stores that normally throw away or give their excess to larger thrift store charities. We pick up the product loose and package it. We then export all the product we get to Scarborough, Ontario. We recieve a per pound price for the product (which varies with the market) and we share that with the partnering thrift operations to help with their charity. From Canada the product gets graded and then redistributed to varying parts of Africa. (East,West and the Congo, for the African Thrift market)
Global thrift can also service mid-to large sized organizations in the entire Northeast Region of the US. We also service Ohio, Michigan, Iowa, & North Carolina. For larger organizations we buy an entire 48 ft. trailer of product at one time.
