This is a first for me. Today I bought an unopened Carolans Irish Creme gift set that has a lovely full size bottle of one of my favorite alcohol beverages and two "on the rocks' glasses.  What a perfect find for a Saturday evening at home with hubby!  I really read the gift box to make sure it was not san's alcohol but...........its regular 17% proof irish creme.  I doubt this was allowed to be sold, but I grabbed it and went out smiling!  Cheers! (and btw, i used my hubby's over 55 discount which made it a near steal)

Great find!  As long as you buy it before they know what it really is, all the better for you.

Yeah, It can't be legal to sell alcohol at a goodwill..I doubt they knew what it was...

Better check the date on that stuff.. I had some in the top of my pantry and threw it out  as I didn't drink it before it turned into something on the rather non consumable side....

Hmmm,I didn't know alcohol went bad. I do know that irish creme has to be refrigerated after opening but I have some bottles of scotch, gin, francisisco (spelling) and countless other spirits that I have had for years and years. What "ages" and what goes bad?? tyia!

I found that website that talks about unopened liquors.  They even specially mention Irish cream.  Check it out.
