I had to kill a little time before dinner at Outback tonight, so what better way to do it than by hitting up a couple of thrifts? I'm glad I did. My CD changer is currently holding:

Galactic: Crazyhorse Mongoose
A funky/bluesy/jazzy groove not to be missed

Karl Denson's Tiny Universe: The Bridge
I remember hearing a song on the radio a few years ago. I found out today it was called Because Of Her Beauty. It's on this most excellent album. Great to reconnect with it.

Shadowy Men On A Shadowy Planet: Sport Fishin'
Not too sure what to expect yet, since I've only heard the name and not the music. I'm 2 discs away from it right now.

SKAndalous: I've Gotcha Covered
A top lineup of Ska artists with Ska-tinged tunes sure to surprise. Examples: Sunshine Of Your Love, Sanford & Son, Hava Nagila.

Southern All-Stars
The Japanese on the cover caught me. I've had a thing for Japanese music since I lived in NJ and watched a Korean-owned TV station with music like theirs on it. These guys blow me away, and even have a song in Spanish on this disc.

I once saw The Toasters with Bim Skala Bim. One of the greatest live shows I've seen.
