Some of my recent finds..

443 Spring Blossom Pyrex bowl - $5.99 (Value Village)
You Light Up My Life tapestry - $0.49 (Goodwill)
late '60s Swedish photo books - $2.02ea (Goodwill)
Thirst Aid mug $0.99 (Goodwill)
Metal globe - $6.06 (Goodwill)

Metal globe was worth it. I have been looking for one for awhile. Have only seen them at vintage shops & antique shops, expensive! Cheap price for a vintage metal globe. The red photo book, along with the vintage photos that were still in the Kodak envelope with the Swedish print), was hidden beneath a bunch of plastics, in the exact spot where I have found stuff before. Looks like someone is hiding stuff there for the 50% off sale. Love, love my finds this week!

Maybe it's my cynical nature, but I'd bet that 90% or more of the stuff that is grossly mis-stocked (aka being in the wrong place in the store) is being hidden for later retrieval by party or parties unknown during a sale day.

I LOVE IT when their nefarious plans are scuttled by a thorough thrift shopper.

Well Done, Sir.
