I got it at a estate sale today for $2. I had no idea what is was worth but thought for $2 I can't go wrong. I seen ebay has some for $50 but the one I have is much older I believe. It has a leather case and handle. The handle is also u shaped. Also has the name and red dot on top of the umbrella. Excellent shape. Anyone know where I could get a value on it?
Thanks, This is my first post besides my I am new here post.

Knirps is a German made umbrella that is supposed to be a very good quality umbrella.  The new ones are popular because they fold down to a very compact size while still being very sturdy.  The value of a vintage umbrella probably depends on the demand for the style, color, pattern.  Probably no way of knowing unless you see a similar umbrella at auction or just sell it yourself, if that is why you bought it.  Otherwise I would just be happy to know that I got a beautiful umbrella that goes for 50+ buck for 2 dollars!
