Oh what a find. If you don't mind me pointing you to my blog on it where my pic is located at http://thriftstorelife.blogspot.com

Major heart pounding when I found these for only $1  !!!! This is the same thrift store that sends me coupons and has the 50 cent clothing days. They're really smart. Inventory moves fast unlike some other places who think they are the nordies of TS.

Vintage glasses are fun, those have nice details to them.  One of my local SA's used to put out baskets of glasses regularly at 50 cents each.  I have found some good ones, cat eyes, Ray-Ban, oversized YSL & Christian Dior.  Surprisingly the cat eyes don't go for as much as you would think, unless they are a particular brand or fancy.  One of the better pairs I sold were a pair of CD which I didn't think were anything special, but CD collectors bid on them.  The best pair I found were these laquered pair from France, they sold for a little over 50 bucks.  Vintage Ray-Ban wayfarers, aviators & the oversized Designer glasses do really well if they are in good condition.  That SA hasn't put out glasses in over 6 months now, but then again the whole store has gone downhill.

oooh, those are nice. The brand of mine are Liberty. I've seen some go for a pretty penny but you know how that goes. Only if the right person is looking at the right time.  It sure is fun though!  Smiley

And yes, the SA's and GW's aren't the same. They think they're Nordies which is why I love it when I find something they "think" is nothing but it truly is!
