Have not posted in a while because none of my thrift stores has had anything great to offer and if they have the prices have been outrageous. Driving home yesterday from taking care of some business and noticed 2 large boxes sitting at the curb in front of a neighbors house for trash pickup. Initially I thought it was books, so i pulled over to take a looksee and although there wasn't any books inside both boxes had vinyl albums. Over 100 albums. Now while I don't collect albums I just could not let these treasures be tossed so I lugged both boxes to my car and took them home with me. Have not really looked through them, but from a quick glance it is various albums from jazz to rock to polkas. The ones I decide not to keep will get donated. Hmm, now only if I could find a turntable

Lucky you indeed!  If I found a bunch of great albums for free I would probably just give in and buy a turntable on Craigslist or something since you saved so much money on the records.

Great find!
There is a DJ locally who works for the Oldies station.  He is always asking anyone getting rid of records, be they 78s, 33s or 45 s to give him a call first before they throw away records.  He will give them a good home.

Some vinyl titles do well on Ebay too.

Yeah.  I sometimes look at the albums on eBay:).
