Well, went all over today...  Didn't find much, but what I did find...

1.  Vintage tomato knife from the 30's...  $1.  This will be great for when I start getting tomatoes from the garden.

2.  (2) orange Pyrex fridge dishes in excellent condition - $2/ea

3.  This is a truly sinful indulgence...  I had to have it.  A vintage ceramic ashtray lithographed with "dogs playing poker".  $20

I'll try to post pics later...

Hmmm, That sounds delicious...  I am only a social smoker though.  I will have a cigar with my best friend when he comes to visit, but that's it.  We're talking maybe 1 or 2 stogies a year.

LOL...  This one has a wooden handle painted red...  as far as a non-vintage tomato knife?  I don't think they're made anymore.  I've never seen a new one in the stores.  A tomato knife has about 8 or 10 thin blades on it, and slices the entire tomato at once so it doesn't progressively smoosh with each slice you cut.  I'll take a pic later and post it.  Oh, and the lady selling it didn't know what it was...

I was just thinking...  The tomato knife would probably do a fantastic job on onions as well.  I strive to be the best host possible and like to serve my guests perfect rings to put on their burgers...

I've seen those before too & now I know what it is, do you have to sharpen them?

I don't see how one could sharpen them.  The baldes are like fine coping saw blades.  I imagine if you tried to sharpen them you would make it worse.
