Nice!  I have never found vintage Barbies, so I am jealous.  You may want to do a little research on your Francie, the 1960's brunette Francies with no bangs sell for hundreds of dollars.  Your Francie is called "Baggie Francie" and was the last Francie doll to be produced (1975-6).  Here's one on Ebay now, there weren't any recently completed auctions for Baggie Francie, so wait & see what this one goes for.

Yes, I will be watching that auction!

So, here is my daughter in her completely thrifted Halloween costume. I had found the dress and wings at a garage sale for $2.00. I found the crown in a free box. I had to replace a few of the rhinestones, but that was easy. And I got the wand at Savers for $1.49. Deal! And it turned out super cute!

Adorable!  I hope she had fun!  When my daughter was little I wasn't into thrifting yet, but I do remember TJ Maxx & Marshalls having cute costumes for little kids pretty cheap, I don't know if that is still the case.  The last few Halloweens my daughter went trick or treating as a teen we did find some good ones at the Sal Army- A cool corspe bride costume that was from Hot Topic & an adult size Disney Cinderella costume.  This year I saw an adult size Telly Tubbie costume at the food bank thrift.  I knew my daughter wouldn't go for it, but I had a feeling I should look & see what they were going for on Ebay.  My hunch was right- they were selling for pretty good prices, but then I forgot to go back to the thrift right away & it was gone- so opportunity lost.

I went to the three local thrifts on Halloween & only at one Sal Army did the employees dress up.  Some of them had really good costumes, all from the thrift.

I saw the baggie Francie in the auction went for over $40.  Yours would probably do better, maybe quite a bit, because it is mint in an unopened package- score!

Yeah, I was watching the auction. It was pretty exciting! I think I'm going to try some selling on ebay after my vacation. I'm thinking before Christmas might be the perfect time anyway. I'll post if I sell it.

An interesting assortment from Goodwill today. A bobble owl for $4.99, basket for $2.99, and ceramic turtle for $1.99.

Found these original Rainbow Brite dolls at Savers for $4.99 each.

In other news, I've listed my Francie doll on ebay, and it's already up to $51!!

How exciting, congrats on the Francie!  Cute owl too, bobbles tend to be desirable with many types of collectibles.  I bet something like that would do well on Etsy, where owls are very popular.

Kinda spendy at $6.99 at Goodwill, but I just had to have this owl! Not sure what to call it. It's in two pieces, but it has an opening at the top like it might be a vase or candle holder.

That is an unusual piece, it probably is a candle holder.  That would look pretty with a candle flickering in it and since it is red you could even incorporate it in with your holiday decorations!
