I've never seen those before, nice catch. I love Kliban cats but the stuff I see is usually pretty worn. When my sister & I were kids my aunt gave us Kliban Cat bedding so I always have a nostalgia for those items. The few nice Kliban things I have found were a coffee mug at the SA & a wastebasket at a yard sale both for 50 cents too.
I found some Kliban cat Christmas cards at a thrift for $1, 20 of them in an unopened pack. I still have them, hate to use them up. Jeannie

I love the mug! Thanks for jogging my memory that is Salem's Biscayne pattern, enjoy using them!
By the way, how do you know so much about dishes? It's impressive!

You don't find those everyday, I would have a hard time using them too. I use my vintage cards sparingly and only give them to people who appreciate them.

By the way, how do you know so much about dishes? It's impressive! That is actually the basket, but I guess it is the same shape as a mug! I have bought & sold lots of dishes and kept several patterns too. That is one thing that seems to end up at thrifts & church sales is boxes of old dishes. I visit replacements.com to look up patterns all the time. Your Biscayne pattern is very popular though and I have seen people talk about it on other websites. A few people have mentioned it on this site in the past too.

I was at an estate sale yesterday and hey had a box of the prettiest chine, while with some really pretty blue flowers on it. I really liked it but Jeez I already have 3 - 4 sets of china I don't use now. So it nearly killed me but I left it behind. But I did buy the bowl with the birds on it. Well, can't expect me to give up everything. Jeannie

Found the lamp shade a few months ago for $1. Found the lamp today at Goodwill half-price for $2.50. The shade must be made for a certain lamp, because it didn't fit the standard-size, so I had to rig it to sit on the lamp. I think I'm going to keep it at my desk at work.

I went to city-wide garage sales on Thursday, and this was the only thing I found worth posting. It's a wooden box/tote thingy. $1.00 I found some other little random things at a thrift store including a miniature Star Trek: TNG plate, and a "Herself the Elf" mug from the 80s.

We have a town wide tag sale next week too, I hope it is a good one, I haven't had too many good yard sale weekends this year!

Went to GW on Tuesday and found aJessica McClintock gown for my DD. It didn't have a price tag on it. the cashier called the manager and she told her to let me have it for $7.99. I was so excited. My DD will be going to an 1860's ball in December so I will be on the look out for another gown that we can have taken apart and made into a 1860's ball gown.
