OOps, I guess I shouldn't have posted a picture on thrifymama's thread I was just exchanging pictures since she found a great glass find that reminded me of my recent glass find, I just found it yesterday.  I love thrift pictures, but I guess it get confusing keeping track of which picture belongs to who!

Glass beads are heavier & have a different feel than plastic.  With the larger beads you can tell by just looking at them usually.  The glass is just nicer and harder to find- at least here anyway.  But I love any vintage beads really and have lots of plastic too!

It was finally cool enough today to wear this awesome sweatshirt. Found it at a thrift store for two bucks! Rock on!

Found the blue bowl dish thingy (anyone have a name for these?) this week for $1.49. It went nicely with the green one I had previously thrifted (for maybe a dollar). Cute!

What pretty colors!  The green one is a creamer, which I am sure you knew, the blue one looks like some kind of double spouted sugar bowl or maybe a jam pot or some kind of condiment server.  I am guessing it may have had a lid.  Are the bottoms marked with any maker name?  If so you could look up the pattern & find out easily what it is.

nope, no markings. and no, i wouldn't have known to call it a creamer. i know plates and bowls, and that's about it. i just liked the colors. at the moment, the green one is a coin/other useless junk dish.  Grin

Got the vase for half price today at $1.50.

Got this sun dress on a Wednesday color-tag sale for $1.49. Still had the original tag on it!

Love the dress & top, I would have bought them too.  I find alot of stuff with tags still on at my thrifts.  I am always surprised when they make it to half price day too!

I had found this lamp shade at a garage sale a while ago for $3. Last weekend I finally found a lamp to match! Got it half-price at Goodwill for $5.

Found a jar of buttons at a garage sale the other day for two bucks. So many possibilites!

Nice lamp shade.  I have been looking for a floor lamp for like- forever with no luck.  I have a great oversized lampshade I got at the food bank thrift for 2 to 3 bucks, i can't exactly remember.  I might have to break down & go to Target & get a lamp.

Jars of button are always fun, I passed over a nice jar at a yard sale at the beginning of the summer that I wish I hadn't, the buttons were very pretty, what will you do with yours?

Well, you know, if you buy a new lamp, I bet a good one will turn up at the thrift store shortly after. That's usually how it works for me. So what you do is keep the tags on your Target lamp for a while, then when you find the thrift store lamp, you can return the other to Target!  Wink

I don't know what I'll do with the buttons. Right now I just put them in a different glass container, and have them displayed on a shelf. I think they're just fun to look at.

Today I stopped at a garage sale and found a cute purse, and a cute wallet to match! $1.50 and 75 cents.

Also stopped at Savers after work, and found a few nostalgic items: A Super Mario Bros. tablecloth for .99, and a Care Bears record, $2.99.

Great colors on the bag & wallet.  What songs are on the Care Bears album?  I mentioned before that I found vintage talking Care Bear & Strawberry Shortcake phones at the SA a few months back, they did say some weird things, just wondering what kind of songs are on your album.

Great tablecloth too.  Several years ago one of the SA's got a whole bin of old stock party goods.  There was stuff like Punky Brewster, Alf, old Transformers & Rainbow Brite etc.  Not too many matching pieces but I did find several Little Twin Stars items, which was one of my favorites as a kid.

I'm jealous of your button score!  Jars of buttons are always overpriced around here.  I've purchased gazillions of buttons over the years but I rarely buy them by the jarful.
