It's good for your soul- Be Thrifty

« on: July 17, 2009, 09:07:56 PM »

Got together with some friends of mine for a dinner outing. I suggested mixing in a thrift run, to which all agreed. Found three pieces of cactus stemware to match one that I got a few years ago; no I have a set of 4. My friend added three matching plates to a set that she had already. I did have to pass on a great dashiki, though. I'll admit it was a bit tight, but when my friends' daughters said something about man-boobs... well, end of that purchase!

There's nothing better than an all-day thrifting trip that includes a stop for lunch or dinner.  Sorry the dashiki didn't work out for ya, El Rojo!
