Found this Vera scarf today for two dollars, thankfully at the SA that doesn't stab the scarves with price guns.  At the other SA got a big 22 oz Yankee Candle jar, unused.  It was $2.99 but had a green tag which was half-price today so I only paid $1.50- those candles are expensive so a good deal.  I think someone goofed because I know that candle wasn't there on Sat, and there was also a Fenton candy dish that definitely wasn't there before too with a green tag.  Either they came in from another store or someone put out the new stuff with half-price tags which works for me!

I also collect scarves... It is great to find a Vera... they are always so beautiful.  I wear scarves with jeans and also dressy and I find that I get lots of compliments... Scarves at the Goodwill are $1.60 which is a great deal...

valleythriftshopper, I LOVE that scarf!  I use to hate orange anything but now I have orange curtains in my dining room and am highly attracted to anything orange.  Great find on both the scarf and candle.  You can't beat the price on the candle.

I am not a huge orange fan, but I really like the design on the scarf.  It is also a wool scarf, which is interesting because I have never found any wool Vera scarves.  It is a very fine lightweight knit though so it can be worn in warmer weather.

There were a few more new green tag things today, which was also a green half-price day.  I don't know what gives with this but I got a easter basket kit which included large easter theme cellophane bag to put the basket in, bow for the top and paper grass (which i like much better than plastic).  Half price for 50 cents.  I wish I had gone earlier in the day, never know what I may have missed!

also a Fenton candy dish that definitely wasn't there before too with a green tag.

When I was a young military wife, we were stationed at Langley AFB in Virginia. What a cool place to be stationed. The Fenton factory store was in Williamsburg VA and I adored going thru, touching the glass and oohing and aahing over it. My sis gave me a small Fenton piece years ago. Now I'm a "Down with Clutter" Girl and unless the GD's are interested, I past on stuff.

That fenton dish was gone the next day when I went in as I asuumed it would be.  It was marked $4.99, but with the 50% off tag it would have only been $2.50.  I am not a big Fenton fan, except for the older art noveau style pieces, so I didn't get it.  It was a ruffled compote dish in an aqua blue color.

Gorgeous Vera scarf find! Great price too! I despise when they stab the tagging gun through any old way... I've even noticed places like TJ Maxx and Marshall's do the same, and sometimes on the higher end stuff they sell. How stupid!

My goodwill was 50% off of green tags too. Got a lot of clothing. I like vintage clothing so usually that stuff is half off. Wish I would have found a candle like that though. I love those candles and they are indeed expensive.
