I'm not sure if this counts as thrifted, because I bought it at an antique store, but anyway... I was looking for a small table for my living room, and this half-moon table caught my eye. It was priced at $35, but I was able to get a 20% discount, and got it for $28. I loved the shape, but thought the color was kind of bland, so I painted it! I haven't experimented too much with that kind of thing, but it turned out really nice. I paired it with a lamp I had bought at a garage sale last summer for $3 (but the lampshade is from Target). And also changed the knob. I don't know where I got that knob, but I've been hanging onto it for a long time.

alternate knob (didn't like as much)

I love this lamp

Very cute lamp too!  Gotta love Target also for handy stuff like the perfect lampshade for a vintage lamp.

Habitat for Humanity Restores are thrift stores for Habitat that have furniture , lamps, kitchen cabinet , tile everything for the home. I got a Thomasville triple dresser with wrought iron handles and mirror o\form $200 retail $3500. They also negotiate prices and if I peek into the warehouse and find a new donation they will price it and load it into my car. Susan
