First, let me just say I haven't been around the forum lately. I bought a house in December and decided to furnish it (except for a new matress, washer & dryer, 2 recliners and a sofa that are going to be new) with things we find in thrift shops.

I found a tea set at a shop in Bremen, Georgia for $120. It has 6 cups and saucers, a teapot with lid and a sugar bowl. I have wanted one similar to this for years, but have never found an entire set before:

This is on the bottom, and I have no idea what it is or where it is from:

Then we found this dining room furniture at a shop in Tallapoosa. The guy wanted $400 for the table, 4 chairs and china cabinet. There was a set of dishes in the china cabinet that he said if I wanted them he would throw them in for free.

When I was unpacking the dishes, it turns out it is a set of Noritake China worth more than $700. Whooooo!

Then I went to a different shop in Bremen, and got this neat telephone table for $36:

I have more to show but don't have the pictures uploaded yet.

Really nice stuff - not my taste, but those are really great finds.
