That MOP & lucite bag is a real collector's piece, I would display it proudly (actually I'd sell it & make some money, but I am a shameless capitalist). I am not a big handbag person I have a few nice ones that I rotate but I would agree that really great handbags are few & far between at the thrifts. The one vintage bag I found & kept was a wicker bag. I had been looking at them on Ebay because wicker bags were so popular last summer. I happened upon this one for 3 bucks at the SA

I don't think it would be lucky to use a "lucky" bag for a second summer, so I will have to come up with a new lucky bag for this year. The one great bag I stupidly passed up last fall was a red patent leather Francisco Biasia bag that was probably worth about $300!
