I recently got my hands on a box of (34) pieces of sheet music all from 1918-1920. I am wondering how I can find out the value of it, if anyone would know and how to go about selling it. The artwork itself is so fascinating. It's all in excellent condition considering the age. Thanks.

Old sheet music generally doesn't go for a lot, except in bulk,  but it really depends on the context of the sheet music, what historical significance it has, the rarety, condition, etc.  Go on Ebay and plug in vintage sheet music for a search, you will get a good idea.  If the art work is particuarly nice they may go for more.  I got a free box of sheet music once and put it up as a lot as there were no single valuable pieces.  I think people on Ebay look for the lots.  You may get more for individual pieces on Etsy.

Thank you. I have checked out some of it on eBay and there were a few pieces that went for $10 or $12, but then there were some I couldn't even find. I have 34 pieces. I also saw that the lots did well. I am going to try to sell individually on Etsy. Thanks!

I wouldn't count anything out just because you didn't see it on Ebay, do a google search too.  If you saw some of your pieces selling OK on Ebay, like the 10-12 dollar ones you might want to put them up there.  THe one problem with Etsy is sometimes it takes a long time for things to sell, like months.  THat is why I could never totally switch over to Etsy.
