A local thrift in a high end area that serves several charities know me through many visits. I left them my name and number. When people come in asking if they know someone who can sell stuff for  them they have my name! Just got one referral. Too small for an estate sale company. I am buying the fabulous teak triple dresser for my son room. Small stuff selling on ebay- I get 20% ok not a big return but her stuff helps generate traffic to my ebay store. I put all the furniture on craigslist but blizzard is slowing the sale of the stuff. Not making enough to quit my day job but lots of fun. Once you get your name circulating at various retirement villages the consignment pour in.
