I got this lamp for :::::::::::DrumRoll:::::::::::::::::: $13.60 at a local Thrift Shop. It is so cool, but I cant find any information on it. what is it called and what is it worth? Anyone know?  I thought my husband would knock me out when he saw it (I left it for him to bring home in the SUV) and instead he LUVs it. Thanks in advance. Our kids all came over separately this weekend and all of them think its really goofy (each had a smart ass comment), but we luv it!! Thanks in advance for any information. it is pristine, HUGE and has a massive marble base. the arms move to wherever you want them to go.

I don't know anything about it , but I like it!  I have been looking for a nice floor lamp for my living room for forever with no luck.  One of the local SA's is knocking out a wall & expanding into the vacant space next door.  They are going to use that space for furniture which will be really interesting because none of the thrifts do alot of furniture around here.  Hopefully I can find a cool floor lamp.

It was so funny that day. I spotted it and so did this other guy I know from GW. I had my hand on it but he is saying he is buying it. I told him I'd knock him out over it (he is really cool and very into thrifting too). we didnt know if it worked and we had the manager, and an other man help us to drag it to the back to test it out. when it lit up it was like christmas!!  Anyhow, i got it and we luv it

It's not my style of lamp (wouldn't work in my '40s-'50s house) but still very cool!  The shape of the shades suggests to me that it's from the '70s.  Is there a brand name or maker's mark on the underside of the base?

I remember seeing them growing up in the 60's and early 70's. I just want to be able to research it. Eames had single globe arc lamps but I didnt see anything with the three globes. Usually I can find information rather quickly  but this one is stumping me and I thought this forum would be a great start.

Hubby had one of these in his bachelor pad in the 70s...he got it from Spencers in the mall in 1976. So if you're into 70s' stuff, you lucked out.

I saw a silver one at GW a month ago marked $25 and just yesterday saw a gold one at Vinnies marked $20.
Yes they do have an actual name but that was the 70s.
Do you expect me to remember it?
70s were all about feelings and fun.
