I found a badly scratched wooden box meant to keep fine sterling flatware at a hospital thrift.
It has those chemically treated anti-tarnish linings.

$7.50 plus tax ( 50% off from $15).

A little craft paint & work & I will have a jewelry box for my sterling pieces.  Comparable jewelry boxes with anti-tarnish lining is anywhere from $40 to $100.

Happy dance.  I have been looking for a flatware box to convert for months Cheesy

Magpie, that's a really good idea.  Grin Never thought to use one of those for sterling jewelry.

I just want to know if how to restyle a jewelry box? Is there a need to recycle different things we need in doing it?
