Twice in the last two years there had been an Estate Sale at a home in my town.  Lady had died and her son and DIL were selling off her estate.  Both times I saw a necklace  and earring set there I loved, Asian feel, almost a bolo type of necklace.  Heavy silver chain, center medallion of a face, possibly ivory, not sure, set in what was described in Austrian crystals.  Matching  earrings.  I really loved it but first ime it was marked $30, second time $25.  So I left them behind.
Today there was  moving sale listed  in the paper at the same address.
Folks sold their house, have to be out in two weeks, no place yet to move.  And guess what was still there?  The necklace and earring set.  I got the set, plus an Asian inspired bracelet, a vintage piece of lace and a bench chopper for $10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  YAHH!!!  Patience paid off.  Now of course if they had marked it sensibly in hte first place I would have bought it the first time out.  But the guy kept saying "Well, on ebay it would go for that."  Well, look around fella, you're not on ebay.  You're having a garagae sale.
I know, b*^#h, b*^#, b*^#.  Oh well.  I finally got the necklace.

Yay! Post a pic of your necklace.  I was at a church sale this morning and it it going on again tomorrow.  At church sales I always wonder if the stuff I bought in the morning would have been still hanging around if I waited until the last hour (the dollar bag hour).   Of course the stuff is only a few bucks anyway, but I like to get the best deal!  This church puts the leftovers on the curb after the sale is over so i always pick through that too.  I got some good stuff, I will post some pics soon!

Congrats, Jeannie!  It's amazing that you were finally able to buy that jewelry after two years!
