I finally have an often working DVD player so I am catching up on old movies. Everything comes from the library, except I think I want to buy a copy of Kinky Boots. Great movie.
I have discovered the way to get movies quickly from library is to watch what will be released next Tuesday and put in a request. If it is not already available from library I have to remember to check back in a few days. Have not been disappointed often.
(OK- this is a new behavior for me, only a couple months, but seems to be working well.)
Tonights movie is Made of Honor. Christmas I watched Wall-E.

SeSo loved your Christmas decor!  So hip!  Thanks for sharing pictures..I'm a visual learner so they help.   Wink

SplashsMom, wish our library had newer movies but they don't.  Too many video rental places, I guess.

I am just too cheap to pay rental fees. And my player doesn't play every film. (Mind of its own)

The Christmas movies I was watching to admire interiors were all on TCM I think. I know most of them were from the late 40s, before my time.  Does anyone know the name of a movie about wishes being granted when cows kneel at midnight on Christmas eve? Even my mom couldn't tell me.

It's a late reply, I know, but the movie is "Tenth Avenue Angel,"  with Margarent O'Brien.  Smiley
