I live in a cheap rent house (only 500$ a month!) so I decorated it with cheapy things to match  Grin... Of course these finds are priceless to me!!! Tell me what you think  Smiley

The living room and computer area. Our love for cats and retro is quiet striking.

The kitchen. My boyfriend wàs a collector of Londons national guard dolls :-) He's in love with England in general. Search for my awesome fabric clock :-P

What a great pad.  In the last shot, you have a pump-action thermos bottle - white with orange flowers.  My great Uncle and Aunt (grandfather's brother) had one just like that, and we absorbed it when they moved out of their house.  Sadly, my wife didn't find much use for it, and we sold it at one of garage sales before moving to Arizona.

It's good to see one so prominently displayed.

See you next time
bye for now

LOVE the colors & the chairs, reminds me of my childhood (we had a lot of orange going on at our house).  $500 for a house- what a sweet deal, you'd be lucky to find a run down shack for that price around here.

I got an email from my dad who is in Germany at the moment visiting friends (his new favorite place).  He mentioned going over the border to Belgium to buy coffee beans (they must have better coffee in Belgium).  He was impressed with the fact that there were is no border just a small EU sign and an empty booth & Belgium transit buses that commute back & forth.

Do tell about all your thrift finds!

mine is prominently displayed in my garage! i've never considered it for cheap chic.. i guess i could add it to the orange collection display..
(maybe mine is the one you got rid of - got it at the thrift a while ago.)

Hi Lexi! I, too, love the orange chairs in the kitchen. My husband and I had yellow ones like that when we were first married. I wish I had them now. No, I want red ones..... Grin

Did I miss your intro? Welcome to the forum.

I love all the punches of red and orange!  You have a fun apartment. Grin

I have one of those air pots, too.  I use mine to keep the water hot for my tea.  They are very useful items.
