So this thrift store near me, which is awesome by the way, had a spiral notebook to sign up for email alerts. Why not right? Well, what do I get but an awesome email newsletter letting me of upcoming specials for only us to know about. This week they are running a special on all clothing in the store for 50 cents!! Shoes, $1.  AND.........us email folks get to get in early. Wow, dream come true. So, I head there to find many other people too but still, I was ready. Well, as some of you may or may not know I sell on eBay so I snatched about 2 trash bags full of clothes plus shoes and other junk for a total of $17! Man that was fun. I mean, mens suit jackets , some vintage for only 50 cents? I can barely contain myself.  So, I get another email saying the response was so great that they will do this more often and are extending the 50 cents sale.

So..........just had to share as I'm sure you can all understand the excitement.

How exciting! I wish I had great thrift shops like that around here  Sad the best we get is half price clothing on "family day" which can be great but not nearly as cheap as your lucky email deal!

What fun!  Your thrift store must be luckier than many who are having trouble getting donations these days.  I imagine either they must have a surplus of merchandise or they are having trouble paying their bills and need to liquidate the stuff for some quick cash!  I hope the first one is the case.  Anyway, enjoy your thrift windfall!

So today I get an email from them saying all kids clothing is 25 cents. Oh, the torture. Not that I have kids but I do sell on eBay kids clothing sells like hotcakes. I was very tempted to take the morning off from work to pop in but it's just too late of notice. I have enough items on ebay right now so that's okay.

But what a great thrift store eh?
