A good lunch hour for me  Smiley

One sweater/blazer (unlined solid teal color boiled wool) perfect condition labeled "Olsen Europe", high quality fabric & construction. $5.99

I googled the label, turns out to be a pricey store specific brand.  Wonder how it landed in Los Angeles... it isn't sold in the USA, it is a Denmark manufacturer with stores in Europe & Canada.  All their jackets & sweaters on their website are all $100 plus.

One huge, reversible tote bag 14 in x 16 in by 6 in--- seat belt handles, all black body with ribbon appliques and reverses to upcycled rice bag with black side panels.  Pricey at $14.99 & according to the date stamp -- donated yesterday.  But I love it & in the LA area boutiques it would certainly cost $120 or more. Wink

Sounds great!  I found a foreign label, high end, aqua suede suit set a couple of years ago, wondered the same thing - how in the world did it end up in Missouri? Smiley

Every now and then I'll find a foreign garment -- some even with foreign language labels -- and wonder how it wound up in a dumpy thrift shop in Philadelphia.

Wouldn't we all love to be able to trace our finds back to their original sources? Grin

Sounds nice!  Lot of Canadians come down to CA in the winter.  My Dad has alot of Canadian neighbors in Rancho Mirage.  It isn't unusual to see stuff with Eastern Europe labels or books in Russian or Polish at thrifts around here (W. Mass) because there are so many people from that region that live here.
