I walked into Salvation Army and spied this wonderful orange tweed Teak Danish Modern armchair & ottoman for $79.99.  I ordinarily don't spend that much on stuff, but I felt it was so cool, I had to have it.

I also picked up a vintage corner end table, and this afternoon I picked up the green dot Pyrex bowl for $3.00 (Very rare)  Today was a great day.  I should take Zeus shopping with me more often.

Wow!  That is nice, well worth the money.  The fabric is in nice condition.  I would love to find a Danish modern footrest for my chairs.

There was a 1964 issue of Woman's Day magazine on a table at one of my local thrifts today.  I was thumbing through it and in a section featuring new furniture designs, there was an orange recliner/ottoman set very similar to yours.

Less than two weeks remaining before my Lalique stems go up for auction - here's the photo from the catalog!

And the result is...

$500 for the lot.  After the auction house's cut, I'll clear just under $400.  Not bad at all.

Congrats!  I could use a good find like that now to finish my Christmas shopping, I  going to a bunch of church rummage sales tomorrow, the last of the season, so I am keeping my fingers crossed!

I really wish they'd been able to get these into the October auction, 'cause now I won't get my $$ until after the 1st of the year.  Oh, well - it will be a nice post-Xmas bump in the bank account, anyway!
