My BIL works on a wildlife sanctuary.  On this sanctuary is a small museum filled with prints by a wildlife artist named Ray
Harm.  He was supposed to have been friends with the woman who donated the land to the group.  She had collected many of his works and donated them to the museum.   He's not in the price range of Audubon but his prints go in the $100 andup range.
Last week-end DD andI were out garage saling and went to one in a very nice neighborhood.  DD found some old Rolling Stone magazines but I didn't find much of interest until I looked thru some framed artwork stuck in one corner of the garage.  And there among the mall shop mass produced prints was a Ray Harm print.  Sticking  out like a sore thumb.  Marked $15.  It had a great framing job (sticker from the local custom frame shop still on the back) print was in pristine condition.  I was considering just  buying for my sister (her bday was last week) when the lady came over and said they were ready to pack up, so fell free to make an offer on anything.  I offered her $10 and she said ok.  It came home with me.  My BIL was up today so I gave it to him and he was impressed. Googled that particular print and unframed copies were starting around $100.  So I did OK.  And my sister got a great gift for her bday.

Print is no longer here.  It went home with my BIL yesterday.
But here is a link to the print.  The bird is called the American Redstart.

Wow!  You did do OK... love to look for custom framed prints at yard/garage sales... altho they tend to be very expensive here...

Awesome find, isn't it great to find a treasure like that? I just got a framed print with glass at my local faviorite thrift store when it went to half off, was still $32.50, they'd had a price of $65.00 on it, & this is a normally cheap thrift store! It's a "Claude Monet" print that I had never seen before, blues, greens, yellows, flower's, really great. It's large, too, 40 inches high, 20 inches wide including the frame. It's a picture I'd not seen before, I admired it in the store for 2-3 weeks before it went half off, wasn't an impulse purchase. I was kind of broke, but had a collection of state quarters, about $50.00 worth of state quarters I'd been saving, so dug into those to get it. Decided I'd enjoy the picture more than the state quarters in the piggy bank. (Although I do have 2 "sets" of state quarters in booklets) Keeping those! Anyway, had to share, thanks!

Sounds like you did OK too.
We have the state quarters too in books.  We saved a bunch of them though when we were collecting them.  Should take them to one of those Coinstar machines.  My kids discovered if you get gift certificates instead of cash there is no fee for counting.  And since someone is always ordering something from Amazon, it works out well for us.
The week-end is almost on us.  Need to get out the paper and look for garage sales this week-end.  Almost as much fun as ts.
