I have been super busy lately and haven't had much of a chance to post pics of thrift store stuff, but I have been finding all sorts of good stuff lately.  Vintage luggage is always a favorite of mine and I was happy to find this hot pink Samsonite train case for 3 bucks at the Sal Army:

I also recently picked up a cute vintage navy & white hatbox suitcase for the same price

Also, this awesome cheetah print coat which was 25 bucks, the most I have ever spent on one item, but well worth it.

Today I bought a depression era quilt, in great shape, with just a little yellowing which will wash out.  It was also pricey at 20 bucks, but has the yummiest feedsack fabrics, so I also felt it was well worth it.

This week I also picked up a vintage Chemex coffee maker mint in the box with filters for a buck and a vintage Vitamix blender for 5 bucks.  And this is just a small sampling, a very good thrifting streak indeed!

Thanks, the thrifting will probably die off after the holidays so I am enjoying it while I can.  Today I found this glass pitcher with funky design for $1.50.  Anyone recognize it?  I wish there were glasses for it too, that would have been a mega find.  Also found were some vintage Christmas cards for 20 cents each.

Yeah, thrifting will die off after Jan 1st until people start their spring cleaning.  The pitcher looks typical of glassware made by various American companies from the late 30's to the early 60's

I think your pitcher is Anchor Hocking - the shape looks right, anyway.

That is what I was thinking too, wonder if the pattern had a name.

Thanks, the thrifts here started to get slow again but this week I have found some good stuff such as a like-new Vera Bradley "Palm Beach Gardens" handbag for 5 bucks and a new-looking authentic Coach drawstring bucket bag for 5 bucks too.  I couldn't believe the Coach bag since the Sal Army marks those high now, but this one got by somehow.

I also found some nice Shiny brites and big Polish ornaments this week, I haven't found too many of these this season.
