The only Restore in our area was in Portland OR. In May they opened one in Vancouver WA. Yay!

A very dear friend went with me (he knows what he's doing.) We bought doors to replace all the hollow core doors that were in my 1969 (and then some horrible makeovers) ranch. The Big Box stores wanted a lot more than $10 bucks each. Plus it was special order just to get the door. They only had ones with jams in stock.

This very special guy also made all my electrical dreams come true. It's not thrift, but I'll brag . . . He found a special order door with a privacy glass panel that the customer had refused (at the BB store). It was 1/4 the price of the special order.

This is amazing!

Our ReStore is better than the one in PDX . . . bigger, carries furniture and has another operation that recycles electronics! Fascinating and all for the good of peoplekind.

Oh yeah, I'm a huge fan of the ReStore!  The one in Sacramento rarely sells furniture but they've got fantastic deals on construction materials.  It's a good, good place and a good, good cause.

Ya know, the Restore near me is absurdly expensive and the people who work there always seem to be crabby.  I just stopped going there.  I really wanted to like the store because I like the charity, but it was not meant to be.

ReStore is a recycling center for used building materials. All the profits go to Habitat for Humanity. Guess some stores are better than others. I'm loving mine!

The Restore here sells more than just used building materials. They also have housewares, linens, books, etc. pretty much everything any other thrift might have, with the exception of clothing. It's my favorite thrift in town!

Our ReStore in the west valley runs hot and cold, and prices aren't great.  It's not on my regular circuit (I'm not even on my regular circuit anymore).
