Thanks for the compliment, Valley Thrift! Actually, I mix and match my dishes a little bit, but they don't all really go together. And I don't have a complete set of anything, except the Biscayne. I want to finish the Eva Zeisel Fantasy pattern, but there are fairly pricey on eBay. It's almost impossible to find here in southern Indiana in thrift shops, though. I pick up anything really cool and 50s though, and somehow work it in to my serving pieces.
Also, I'm glad you like the RetroRenovation blog, Duke. It's about the first thing I look at everyday when I get on my computer. I live in a late 50s ranch, and it's fun seeing Pam's ideas and talking about 50s and 60s design. The blog has helped me appreciate some of the cool things about my house that I originally thought about ripping out and "modernizing." Now I'm so glad I didn't get rid of my old inlaid vinyl floor in the foyer, or rip out the little kneewall in my dining room.
