I went out motorcycle shopping with my roommate today, and after she was looking at one dealer, we went to the thrift shop across the street.  There we found a set of Harley Davidson motorcycle luggage (designed to attach to the bike for trips).  We bought the set of 2 bags (large bag, and a smaller weekend bag) for $8.  When I got home tonight and looked it up, the set of luggage sells new for $230!  I never figured I'd be able to afford motorcycle luggage this soon, but at that price, why not?

At that price I would have grabbed it and figured out later what I  was going to do with it.  A great deal.

Yeah, knowing it sells new for $230, we figured worst-case scenario is that we'd sell it for $50 on Craig's List if we determined that it didn't fit our bikes right.
