We've all talked about finding thrift-store gems while searching through a rack.

Well, I think I can claim to have foiled someone's plot to get some shirts for cheap.  I was looking through the Men's XL short sleeve shirts when I hit two long sleeved wool shirts with really nice plaid.  They were next to each other, so they stuck out like a sore thumb.

I took them out and they were Pendleton Wool Shirts - size medium.  These are really nice (and really expensive) shirts made from 100% virgin wool, and crafted in Oregon.  A quick Google search shows them selling from $70 to over $150 depending on where you buy.

So I grabbed them, thinking they would be perfect (eventually) for my nephews who live in the Poconos in Pennsylvania.

But when I brought them home, my older daughter (who's getting packed to head back to college) was there and a quick eyeball showed me that they would fit her.  Just the previous night, she had made a statement about liking L.L. Bean stuff, so figured these would be a perfect fit.  She tried them on, and she loved them, and she's taking them back to school.

SCORE!

Nice shirts!  Someone will be bummed out that you discovered their stash, haha.  When I first started putting stuff on Ebay I would hide stuff I wasn't sure about until I could look it up and see what price it was going for.  I still occasionally "restock" something to another part of the store if I am thinking about it and want to keep it there until the next day.

$35 on ebay, sell in a week.

See if you can find a name to the plaid on the button placket.

I just found 2 Pendletons, one is vintage (not my forte), in the last 3 days. One's already sold and shipped.
