Ok, so I thought I'd start a new thread for the new year! There hasn't been much to brag about lately, but I found a few cool things over the weekend:

A super cute teapot for $2.99

This is an odd little planter of some sort. I just loved the look on the girl's face! Paid 99 cents.

I'm a huge Sailor Moon fangirl, so when I saw these yesterday at Goodwill, I was super excited! $1.99 each.

Cute dolls, they are in good condition too.  I remember when my daughter used to watch that cartoon, do they still make new episodes of it?

oh no, I don't think so. The show aired when I was in high school, in 1995. But you can watch them all on YouTube!  Grin

I love YouTube!  Unfortunately alot of the stuff I want to see gets pulled off for copyright infringment.  My daughter used to watch Sailor Moon not that long ago maybe 4 or 5 years now, it was probably on Cartoon Network, maybe it still is.

Had the day off, so naturally did some thrifting!
Found a bag of old barrettes for $1.49, like the kind I had when I was a kid. I'm not sure if they make them like this anymore. They will look cute on my daughter!

Sailor Moon lunchbox for $1.99. So cool!

Teapot and cups/saucers by Adams Calyx, the pattern is called Singapore Bird. I love the pattern and color, but almost thinking of returning them. I'm disappointed the teapot is missing the lid, and the cups are sort of crackled looking. Also, not sure how/where to display them. I paid $3.50 for the teapot, and $2.50 for the cups/saucers.

Goody still makes those barettes, those might be new ones.  My daughter just bought a bag of those & she is a teenager, they are still popular with older kids too.

That crackling on the cups is called crazing, it is fairly common in old china & ceramics.  I kinda like the look of it, if there is alot of discoloration around the crazing it can be less attractive.

I bought these really cool foil pictures from Goodwill last week for $3.99 each. The frames were in a regular stain color, and a little beat up, so I decided to paint them using some leftover wall paint I had. I think they turned out really nice!

Nice!  I like the colors you used.  I have a frame to paint myself so I am feeling more inspired.
