Yes, I have been selling on ebay for about 3 years now. I find lots of great stuff while thrifting! I would love to hear others ideas and what they sell.

Glad to find others.

I've been ebaying my thrift store finds for over 10 years now. I'm looking forward to bouncing off ideas with others.

I've been on eBay for better than 10 years.  For awhile most of my finds were getting listed there, but in the last 4-5 years, I've found that a lot of what I used to get big bucks for on eBay was no longer pulling in the $$$ -- plus the fees have steadily climbed to the point that unless I'm going to get $30 or better for an item, it's not worth listing it.

So I've listed less on eBay and sold more at the antique flea markets in the area (Lambertville, Columbus, and Adamstown), or sending the stuff to a local live auction.  Recently somebody here mentioned Etsy, and now I'm putting a lot of stuff on there.  The fees are SOOOOOO much less than eBay.

Unfortunately I sell on FeeBay also....Been doing it for almost 5 years, now I cry when they send me an invoice with my fee's.  I have to buy stuff at a dollar to make any profit after they get done with me, Oh well, Good luck out there.

I used to sell on eBay, but no longer.  Their policies and prices/fees have driven me away.  I also lost my source for discount packing supplies, which didn't help, either.  I've found that I could get my price on Craigslist, and I didn't pay any fees, the buyers came to my house, paid CASH, and there were no "you didn't send me product" complaints later on.

Yeah, ebay fees really suck. However ,I'm still there. Have been since '99. Been considering etsy for awhile. Does it get good traffic?

They have a vintage category which is perfect for me. AND, auctiva just announced they are no longer going to offer services for free. More fees!

I'm feelin' the vibe of etsy. I think I will be there soon.  Wink

My latest goodies are up if anyone is interested to see. I got some models this time and that seems to have helped.

I've been buying from ebay for ages, although, I tend to buy more near Christmas.  I've never sold anything.  I"m too lazy.  My husband would love for me to do that though.  Our oldest son used to sell ballcards on ebay, but he started losing money after so long.  I'm sure that some are more successful than others.  I had a middleman try to sell a pair of designer pants for me once.  I didn't get any bids and never got the pants back.  Oh, well, at least I had the sense to buy them at a thrift store to begin with.
