I hit a little dish jackpot today at the one independent thrift we have here, The Survival Center.  I got an almost complete service for 8 of Taylor, Smith & Taylor "Petal Lane" dinnerware (just two tea cups missing) including nice big soup bowls, berry bowls, bread, dessert & dinner plates.  And two oval serving platters & one serving bowl.  The cost- $10.00!  I couldn't believe it.  Given my passion for aqua lately I could not pass them up.  Now I am in the process of cleaning out the dish cabinet & donating all the odds & ends dishes back to the thrifts!

I loved the pictures of the dishes and they are beautiful.  I also am cleaning out my china cabinet because I have become infatuated with those aqua dishes.  Sometimes I think china patterns find you.

I have never seen such a complete set of dishes before at a thrift & at that price, no way I was letting them go.  I would have regretted it for a long time!

That is a great set and a very good price!  Way to go!  I love the tea-cups!  They look very friendly.
